All some over-elaborate plot of the old ones. Scourge dead, legion dead, Hakkar dead, Alliance and Horde Conflict (butchered and on its way out the door) and guess what it was probably all going to be muhahahaha OLD GOD plot all along muahahaha! I mean, how is something supposed to be a twist when you know what the punchline of the plot is? Deathwing, Azshara, The legion, the scourge. They were interesting when they were a side plot sometimes but every expansion they seem to become more and more behind EVERYTHING! At least everything that is relevant and anything else that is cool the lore has just shoved aside and made irrelevant. Even as someone who loves Love craft stuff I don’t know why WoW old gods are appealing after its been beaten like a dead horse. He lives in Switzerland but is an ever-present figure on the international lecture circuit, traveling more than 100,000 miles a year.I really don’t get it, I don’t get the appeal.
